Your responsibilities

* Master’s degree in CS, SW, EE, or other equivalent fields.
* Hands on firmware development job 5 years or above.
* Good English in both spoken and written.
* Willing to learn new knowledge, self-motive, team sprit.
* MicroController Skills:
* Experience with Renesas microcontrollers desirable.
* Worked with Dual Bank bootloader.
* At least some C++ knowledge.
* Our project is in C++ not C, like perhaps most Renesas RX-Projects.
* Arduino experience can be applicable.
* Linux experience to get the ATW-Upload process running.
* GCC experience.
* Linux Skills:
* On-going experience in maintaining Linux kernels and builds across version evolution.
* Understanding of build automation and package management for embedded (ARM) Linux.
* Experience with performing open-source license and vulnerability assessments and patching as needed.
* General understanding of custom hardware tailoring, including Device Tree, drivers, graphics/HMI packages, and protocols.

Your background

* Deep knowledge in Microcontroller Programming in C or C++ (not important which platform*).
* Experienced in at least one object oriented language like C++, Java, C#.
* Electronics background
* Knowledge of inter IC communication protocols.
* Knowledge of field bus communication protocols.
* Familiar with use of Oscilloscope, Logic Analyzer, Multimeter.
* Knowledge of Linker-Configuration and linker scripts.
* Memory types created by the compiler.
* Basic Python knowledge for automating build, tests or code generation would be nice.
* Knowledge of Make systems outside Microcontroller IDEs would be nice (two of make, platform.IO, Cmake, Automake).
* Basic Linux user experience, perhaps to also work on TPM, secure boot, iMX8 boot configurations.
* Startup phase - what happens before "int main(){}".
* Knowledge of Git variants and related processes.
