Responsibilities
1. Run the open platform by monitoring availability and taking a holistic view of system healthy.
2. Build tools and automation to manage platform infrastructure and services
3. Gather and analyze metrics from platform components and services to assist in performance tuning and fault finding
4. Provide operational support and engineering for multiple software development teams
5. Partner with Services Engineering teams to improve services through rigorous testing and release procedures
Requirement
1. Bachelor’s degree and above, 5+ years of work experience with distributed storage technologies like SAN, NFS, S3, and Software Defined storage platforms
2. Experience with distributed storage technologies like SAN, NFS, S3, and Software Defined storage platforms
3. Experience with VMware and other virtualization platform technology, experience with Storage devices special on EMC/NetApp
4. Ability to script in one or more shell languages, such as Bash or PowerShell
5. Ability to program (structured and OO) with one or more high level languages, such as Python or Go
6. Experience working within an agile environment, Good written and spoken communication skills in English and Chinese.
