The purpose of the Procurement Manager （Level 2） role in indirect procurement function is to manage Elekta’s senior purchasing on indirect products and services, focusing on achieving results for quality, cost and on time delivery.

1. Work closely with business stakeholders to deeply understand business requirements and develop complicated sourcing strategies.

2. Lead independently in the selection of suppliers in compliance with the Elekta sourcing process

3. Negotiation of best practice terms with suppliers for high cost saving.

4. Build up modelling then introduce open book costing and/or competitive tendering where appropriate.

5. Consolidate supply base and ensure supply agreements are in place with key suppliers

6. Monitor supplier's performance cost, quality, delivery, and contract compliance.

7. Act as expert for indirect purchasing systems/processes and deliver training on these as and when required
