ROLE AND MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES –
1、Review applications and assess risks associated with Financial Lines, preparing the underwriting worksheet and
propose underwriting decision.
2、 Maintain relationships with internal BD team, brokers and agents to ensure the existing book and a steady flow of new
business;
3、Develop and maintain underwriting guidelines and procedures to minimize risk and ensure profitability;
4、Collaborate with internal & external professionals to implement business development strategy and execute a
development plan. Pro-actively work in tandem with marketing staff and underwriters in other lines.
5、 Response timely to quotations and production of policies, endorsements, certificates, renewal notices, and other
administrative requirements. Check and reconcile information as required.
6、Follow underwriting best practices and ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines.
？ Assist in providing relevant training and support to junior underwriters, sales, and claims team.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
1、 Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Insurance, Law, Engineering or related field;
2、 Proficient in English, CET-6 and above;
3、 At least 2 -year working experience in casualty underwriting or claims, experience with D&O and PI are preferred;
4、 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate and judge underwriting risks within the
designated written authority;
5、 Demonstrated knowledge of underwriting practices and procedures in Financial Lines;
6、 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain relationships with brokers,
clients, and colleagues;
7、 Self-motivated, result-driven with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets;
8、 Detail-oriented and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment;
9、 Ability to work independently or as part of a team
