Position Summary
Responsible for regular auditing of existing supplier and development of potential suppliers.
Main Accountabilities
Complete Quality approval of new suppliers - audit prospective new suppliers in China, define improvement measures and track implementation on a system-level of their quality system (measures like FMEAs, APQP, Poka Yoke...)
Follow up improvement action and performance of audited new suppliers
Support MANN+HUMMEL worldwide communication with suppliers in China - support international MANN+HUMMEL sites sourcing in China by finding and resolving communication gaps for technical issues
Manage Advanced Quality Planning with suppliers, defining APQP quality requirements and ensuring APQP is completed satisfactorily - supplier visits for run@rate and PPAP or in case of repetitive or severe problems
Development of suppliers quality system, management of corrective actions and quality performance - support suppliers in Asia in ad-hoc activities (root-cause analysis, define and track to-do list)
Support strategic development of suppliers and supplier quality in China: implement and develop concepts for supplier development in Asia
Identify risks to the MGM from suppliers that fail to improve & meet MANN+HUMMEL quality requirements: escalate by reporting suppliers with continuous/repetitive problems to material group managers in global purchasing and suggest appropriate measures
Job Requirements (Qualifications, Skills, Experience, Competencies)
Education/Major:
Bachelor degree or above with major of engineering or technical.
Experiences:
5 years quality or engineering experience in manufacturing environment Min.
Experience (min 3 years) in a quality role (incoming inspection, quality management systems, supplier quality assurance) or process engineering (experience with methods like APQP, FMEA, process design, Poka Yoke, problem analysis, control planning.
Experience in metal-casting or with production of oil-water-heat-exchangers or thermo-electronic components for automotive or industrial application is a plus.

Knowledge & Skills:
Good presentation skills and experience with foreign cultures.
Foreign language:
Fluent in both written and oral English.
Computer ability:
Good computer level (be familiar with OAS and CAD).
Personal Quality:
Willing to travel inside China and overseas.
You are motivated and self driven.
Independent (you work on your own initiative, when required).
