Responsibilities:

1. The Surface Designer creates high-quality digital 3D surface models used in the automotive design and product development process.

2. Responsibilities include interpreting and defining the design intent of the Automotive designer using Alias software, while directly collaborating with studio engineering. The 3D data is used to develop numerous product concepts, detailed appearance models, high-quality renderings, and production level surfaces used in tooling for manufacturing.

3. Candidates must be deadline-driven and possess problem-solving, organization, and interpersonal skills.


Qualifications:
- Considering the Grasshopper Modeler, the requirements are as follows:

- Skilled in using Alias Software

- Experienced in Grasshopper Software

- Enthusiasm in CAS Modelling

- Well-communicated and team-oriented

- As a candidate, you must exhibit a positive attitude and take pride in the quality of your work. You should have the ability to learn quickly and work effectively in a fast-paced, highly creative environment.

- You have an enthusiasm for a 3D modeling career. Proficiency in Alias. Candidates may also be familiar with pattern tools (Grasshopper/Rhino), rendering, visualization, 2D drawing, image editing, and manufacturing software packages. An understanding of Catia or other solid modeling CAD programs is helpful.

- Software and IT: Alias, Alias SubD, Blender, Maya.

Education & Experience:
Class A (Strak) – ALIAS 3+ years
Concept (CAS) – ALIAS 3+ year
Concept (Polygon) – ALIAS Sub-D or Blender 3+ years
NUFO/DSM Lead experience a plus
