Main Responsibilities:
HR Planning & Strategy
- Working in close cooperation with the management, develop and implement the HR strategy to support business needs while ensuring full alignment with company values and culture.
- Lead/participate in new or revised HR program implementations and make sure to deliver smoothly and successfully in the region.
- Deploy the HR processes in the employee life cycle oversee, including talent acquisition, performance management, compensation and benefits and development programs.
- Liaise with the HR Director in Geneva to maintain global continuity.
Talent Planning and Employee Management
- Manpower planning.
- Manage the talent acquisition process; recruitment, interviewing, hiring applicants and understanding the skills and competencies required.
- Manage the onboarding & off-boarding process for all employees, pre-employment checks, contracts, and induction programs.
Compensation and Benefits
- Analyse trends in compensation and benefits; research and propose competitive packages and incentives to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent.
- Work closely with Melchers HR on payrolls, corporate policies, compliance with local laws and regulations etc.
- Ensure the deployment of the performance evaluation process and follow up on any development needs.
- Liaise with line managers and employees regarding corporate policies and practices.
Performance Management
- Based on the company's overall strategy and business objectives, improve the company's performance and incentive management system, and optimize performance-related systems and workflows.
- Facilitating performance review (e.g. goal setting, feedback and calibration, and results documentation, etc.)
Employee Relationship & Development
- Develop and maintain privileged working relationships with employees to facilitate employee engagement. In close cooperation with management develop and implement the relevant programs to increase engagement, motivation, retention and productivity.
- Provide support and guidance to management, and employees, when complex and sensitive issues arise i.e., investigations, grievances, complaints, and terminations.
- Manage employee investigations, and disciplinary and capability hearings in accordance with company policy.
- Organize learning and development programs and initiatives development opportunities for employees.
- Support line managers on corporate engagement activities.
Requirements
- University or above degree in HR, business administration, law, psychology, or related discipline.
- 7 to 10 years of experience in human resources, and at least 3 years in a similar role, with a focus on retail preferred.
- Exceptional management skills and proven track record in successfully working with the management team.
- Excellent influencing and interpersonal skills.
- Outstanding communication skills in English & Chinese, both written & verbal.
- Well-rounded organizational and analytical skills, ability to work in a multicultural environment, under pressure, meeting tight deadlines and budgets.
- Self-motivated and team-oriented.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook is essential. SAP is desirable.
