About the Role:
• The position is primarily responsible for driving financial and operational internal controls, accounting compliance, acquisition, process integration, and operation excellence to deliver accurate actual financial reporting and analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
• Partner with Operations/SCM team to support integration (including plant separation and transition), operational process and control, KPIs and Manufacturing/SC scorecard.
• Has in-depth knowledge of manufacturing finance and how own area integrated with others.
• Manage each stage of execution process to ensure that all internal and external policies and guidelines are applied, and the responsible parties are involved in the integration process with matured communication for China and Global stakeholders.
• Evaluate and challenge the business plan and analysis of the key drivers and assumptions to provide an appropriate financial analysis for the management review.
• Prepare for plant finance statement and management report, including monitoring of achievement of financial performance vs budget, reviewing relevant financial performance indicators, and working to drive root cause analysis.
• Oversee Capital expenditure control, proper custody, and optimum utilization of factory fixed assets for cost management and physical assets accountability.
• Coordinate and support internal and external audit.
• Travel frequency 20%.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree or above in accounting or finance. CPA or ACCA must.
• Have advanced knowledge in corporate finance and accounting, valuation, and cost accounting, with at least 3 years’ experience in handling full set of accounts in manufacturing industry.
• Ability to liaise with other functions and departments and provide a solution to solve problems.
• Be proactive, resourceful, and able to work independently.
• Skilful in MS Office especially Excel.
