Your mission

As Global Product Manager of production/reinforcement drilling, you will bring competitive and innovative productivity solutions to customers to address their needs, which differentiates Epiroc from competitors. By doing this, Epiroc will increase market share and ensure sustainable profitable growth in relevant areas. You take the full ownership of strategic actions, results and sustainable product development. The product owner demonstrates product leadership by creating and communicating the global vision, strategy and direction for the assigned products. This includes driving business growth by identifying new market opportunities and market segmentation strategies which add value to our customers.

To succeed in this role we think it´s important that you facilitate the product management cycles by establishing credibility, interacting, and communicating with the other cross-functional teams.
Your responsibility

- Establish and maintain product strategies within the product area with focus on China

- Produce and maintain sales literature and sales arguments (supporting the Value Based Selling approach).

- Provide product and application training for customer centres.

- Support customer centres with product knowledge, application knowledge, sales arguments and competitor information.

- Develop and maintain Machine Order templates and a pricing structure (IP) related to product performance and benefits.

- Handle Preliminary Machine Orders (Pre-MO)

- Be responsible for competitor analysis and comparisons.

- Be responsible for product cost analysis and development.

- Represent marketing at Field Situation Meetings (FSM) and at Production Situation Meetings (PSM)

- Contribute to achieve the consolidated sales and profitability targets.

- Collect and interpret information on customers' present and future needs and translate this information into project proposal of product development.

- Participate in pre-studies and product development projects, usually as sub-project leader Marketing

- Be prepared to assume project leadership for pre-studies and minor projects.
Your profile

We are looking for a dynamic, structured and result oriented person with an openness to changes and who works proactively. To be successful, you must have a high level of personal drive, have good ability for relationship building and project management skills. You have a blend of business, marketing, and a technical understanding from our Production/Reinforcement Drilling product line.

This position requires a good team player, and ability to work closely with colleagues and present performance results to management.

Degree on university level in business or engineering or other relevant background and experience is preferred. It’s meritorious if you have marketing experience. Good command of English along with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
