The Automotive Sound Engineer main mission is to perform car audio tuning for infotainment system. You would also be involved in new algorithms creation, DSP implementations tests and optimizations, Sound Tuning software specifications and validations as well as consulting activities.

You can be involved in Pre-sales support activities: customer demonstrations, product introduction, RFI/RFQ discussion, audio technology events participation.

Your activity is closely linked to the activities of other R&D departments, and you will have to collaborate with these departments as well as Product, Presales and Sales departments.

You will evolve in an international environment.

You will report to the Arkamys China Engineering Manager (scope and priorities)

Main Missions :
• Perform sound automotive tunings using Arkamys embedded software and tuning tools
• Contribute to sound tuning systems optimization.
• Contribute to new algorithms and product definitions.
• Contribute to the global Quality Process.
• Participating in the Pre-Sale effort: introduce & demonstrate Arkamys audio solutions, contribute to the customer specifications, and helping customer audio education.
• Business-oriented approach: notice, anticipate and report internally relevant information about product risk and opportunities.

Your profile:
• Excellent (audio) listening skills.
• Experience in Automotive environment, in sound engineering (studio, live music…), +8 years.
• Knowledge of embedded systems and audio device hardware.
• Experience with software development in a Windows development environment, e.g., Visual Studio.
• Experience with software development in an embedded development environment.
• Experience working with lab equipment such as audio analyzers is a plus.
• Good understanding of the customer-supplier relationship.
• Work creatively and be able to solve a problem analytically.
• Work in an international environment.
• Position will require domestic and international travels.
• English-speaking.
