Job Responsibilities:
Our Tech Cluster Power Electronics (PE) develops pioneering elements for the energy transformation in electric vehicles and as the environmental conditions impose similar challenges on drivetrain products. In this position you take over the responsibility for PE in China:

• Plan and control the development of technologically successful target projects to ensure the business of E EN PE in China for all relevant customers.
• Build Chinese customer technical intimacy. Lead team to transfer China market technology trend into product definition.
• Drive the team for electrification transformation.
• Contribute to global PE footprint and promote changes according to footprint in an agile & flexible manner.
• Drive competency management according to footprint and foster building up necessary skills in each location.
• Ensure efficient resource management and budget planning & operating in alignment with the strategic planning of E EN PE.
• Promote VT products to customers as one of ambassadors of VT and encourage developing inventive ideas that contribute to being an electrification leader.
• Develops, compiles, analyzes and follows-up the KPIs in alignment with the Tech Cluster Strategy and with Engineering (Strategy & Performance).
• Ensure process implementation and adherence.
• Coordinates communication activities and customer relations with internal and external stakeholders.
• Support effective problem solving for project in development or mass production.
Job Requirements:
• Academic degree in mechanical, electrical or SW engineering or an equivalent degree in physics/chemistry/etc.
• min 10 years of professional experience in R&D for serial applications in the automotive industry
• min 5 years of experience in China of Powertrain related Projects
• Profound knowledge about Chinese automotive market and industry
• Automotive R&D Methods & Processes, Structured Problem Solving
• Preferably vast experience in powertrain electrification
• Experience in management of international teams/ Work experience abroad preferred
