Role & Responsibilities:
Position Definition (Key Purpose of the Position) :
Pattern Developer is responsible for the technical development of new product/style concepts and brand fit blocks, according to the Brand Creation direction. Driving excellence in fit, engineering, development, technologically advanced products of the highest level, and as a gatekeeper on consistency of Block usage and guardrail application. Establishes pattern blocks and creates new concepts patterns delivering on design’s aesthetic and fit intent.


Key Result Areas:
- Ensures both the technical superiority and the product quality/integrity of all products falling under their responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 1st patterns by CADS, according to designer/develop fit intent and size specification
- Responsible for creating fit blocks across multiple product categories, ensures execution of fit intent and fit consistency through clear analysis, documentation. Align brand fit strategy and business direction creating and maintenance of block patterns
- Follow/maintain clear brand standards and guidance file to monitor factory utilization of block and brand pattern
- Compare factory patterns against blocks for fit consistency and offer clear guidance to lead venders under brand fit direction
- Research current market fit trends, competitive product fit reviews, analyzing consumer feedback to contribute advanced and consistent brand fit.
- Create 3D product utilizing designated tools, Browzwear, to provide visual representation of new silhouettes and blocks
- Participate in expanding the use of 3D imagery by investigating and developing methods of reducing product creation lead time and expense. Collaborate with designers and developers testing output and validating through actual garments
- Partner with Product developers and Vendors to resolve any potential fitting issues

Functional Competencies –
List down specific set of functional skills required to perform in this role
- Demonstrates an advanced expertise in patternmaking, fit, construction, and knowledge of manufacturing processes
- Able to independently research, develop and manage new conceptual product
- Computer skills: Gerber experience (or other patternmaking system), PLM experience, Adobe Illustrator, MS Office software
- Experience and knowledge on Digital Product Creation/Development software -Browzwear, Clo3D is preferred

Experience
Minimum Relevant Experience: Minimum 5 years in pattern making and Fit management
Academic Qualifications
Minimum Degree Held: Higher Diploma, BA or BS degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Fashion Design, Technology, Textile or equivalent combination of education and experience
