Roles and Responsibilities

As the team member of Operations and

Quality you will be responsible for supporting sourcing functions viz. Product /

component sourcing, supplier management, managing prices and responsible for

quality of products and processes being sourced.

 

·       Ensure Supplier quality by ensuring that the products

being developed are of consistent quality and match the specification of the

products.

·      

Facilitate

Supplier assessment process by getting involved in the assessment of quality of

the documents submitted and its integrity by engaging with legal partners and

the team in India.

·      

Performing

Pre-dispatch Inspection of the goods on a sample basis and as per requirement.

·      

Facilitate Root

cause analysis of any field failure problems by coordinating with the supplier.

·      

Follow up with

suppliers for regular audits to their plants to ensure the quality of process

being followed.

·      

Facilitate adherence

of business policies, processes, and procedures viz. product identification

& vendor Development, to aid and improve business performance.

·      

This role

involves travelling to different supplier locations in the respective countries

and travelling to the Headquarters in India on a regular interval.

·      

Acting as a link

between India and China Operations for sourcing of all aspects of product &

supplier management and deliveries.

·      

Facilitate developing

and implementing sourcing strategies in line with the business plans and

objectives.

·      

Identification

and management of the new and existing suppliers respectively according to the

business needs.

·       Ensuring supplier assessment audits along with the plant quality

assurance team.

 

 

Primary Skills

·       Must possess a working knowledge of Energy and Power

solutions business, global supply chains, and Market opportunity for the

country / Geography.

·      

Preferred experience

of the Battery, Inverter / UPS product manufacturing in the region & experience

to manage supply from OEM and ODM

·      

Good Knowledge

in Quality systems and engineering

·      

Basic Knowledge

about Power systems and Energy storage quality requirements

·      

Basic knowledge

of negotiation and supplier management

 

 

Secondary Skills

·       Passion and the ability to operate in highly efficient

operations businesses.

·       Capable of managing and driving regional counterparts.
