Major Responsibilities:
 Responsible for leading the product design, release, and validation for new project base on project schedule.
 Communicate with customers to determine product specifications and design proposal, identify the best plan to address the nonconformance of customer requirements, and close the issue per plan.
 Develop product to represent the best comprehensive of customer requirement, cost and quality.
 Apply statistical methods and perform product/process analysis for cost reduction, quality efficiency improvements.
 Maintaining product documents, such as DFMEA, DSS, BOM, Drawing and technical spec etc.
 Lead to review the technical document with supplier and manufacturing team to make sure the requirement is understood properly, lead to complete the components development on time
 Lead product problem solving / root cause analysis, lead to close the issue during bench and vehicle test.
 Lead the product change management.


Skills and Abilities/Qualification:
 Bachelor degree of mechanical engineering required
 Good understanding of IATF 16949 or VDA6.3
 Experience on FEA is preferred.
 Familiar with CAD, GD&T, tolerance stack up
 Able to clearly communicate in written and verbal English, Germany preferred
 Knowledge on material fundamental and CAE preferred
 Knowledge on forging, heat treat, material fatigue preferred
 Self-motivated, accepts responsibility for assigned area
 Team worker & self driven, good ownership.
 Able to travel as required
Experience:
 5 years minimum experience as product engineer.
 Design for Six Sigma training preferred.
 IATF16049 or VDA6.3 training preferred.
