MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support Sales’ efforts to keep up-to-speed on Nexteer products and technologies as well as industry trends, then effectively present our solutions to targeted OEM decision-makers.

• Develop tailored proposals, presentations and other tools for new business and cross-selling opportunities.

• Work effectively with internal technical for proposal/presentation input.

• Assist Sales team members’ efforts to fully understand and convincingly articulate Nexteer’s product portfolio, value propositions, industry trends as well as confidently position themselves as intuitive motion control consultants.

• Sales interface to product team, strategic budget planning and communications teams

• Support sales team for strategy development, customer value enhancement and branding towards customers

• facilitate sales-related activities, such as salesforce maintenance, sales process execution.

• Support sales team for understanding of market environment.

• Facilitate communication cross-functionally

• Interact effectively with Global Nexteer team.

QUALIFICATIONS:

DEGREE: Bachelor
• Minimum 2 years of experience in sales or product line related roles.

• Excellent written and oral communication skills for various business settings as well as extensive experience in developing and writing for sales tools (e.g., proposals, presentations, case studies, etc.).

• Proven ability to create and manage cross-functional teams that may vary from opportunity to opportunity and may include members both internal and external to the company.

• Ability to interact effectively with executive, managerial and operational levels.

• Highly organized with strong project management skills.

• Ability to prioritize work (multi-task) with limited direction.

• Proven body of work/portfolio in business-to-business communications and sales support in the automotive industry (OEM and Tier 1 experience preferred).

• Ability to research businesses, track industry trends and support potential new business opportunities.

• Extensive network of marketing communication vendors and related services is a plus, but not required.

• High level of analytical skills where problems are unusual and complex

• Highly developed oral and written communication skills; comfortable with presentations to all levels of the organization

• Ability to maintain and develop internal business relationships

• Ability to develop a basic technical understanding of Nexteer products and manufacturing processes; familiarity with Nexteer products and manufacturing facilities preferred

• Ability to effectively work with the global Nexteer team, including sales, product line executives and engineering

• High interest and self-motivation to research, understand, and anticipate trends and key issues within the global automotive industry

• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from cross-functional groups of managers, peers, or customers

• Ability to be flexible in work schedule to enable interaction with internal global organization when required

• High work ethic, results driven, self motivated, ability to positively influence, business minded
