We seek a talented, qualified legal assistant, with an affinity for education to accelerate the great work achieved to date and lead/support in areas including but not limited to the following (from PRC law perspective and within China mainland region):
- Work closely with business development team to prepare school license applications and all the relevant filings and registrations for new school projects;
- Review school-based operational contracts;
- Corporate filings/registrations for any changes to China entities;
- Assist legal counsel to ensure all legal transactions comply with group policies and PRC law and liaise with different function teams to facilitate internal approvals;
- Assist legal counsel to manage relationship and engagement with external lawyers and other service providers;
- Conduct legal research, prepare legal memo and/or reports as required;
- Management and internal filing of legal documents/contracts and corporate records.
Successful Candidate will possess:
- Bachelor’s Degree in law;
- 0-3 years PQE working in highly regarded PRC or international law firm or legal department of a foreign invested enterprise
- Training in law firm with substantial experience is preferred;
- Excellent English skills (both written and verbal);
- Excellent communication skills and able to deliver results internally and externally efficiently;
- Results orientated, self-motivated, flexible and adaptable and be driven to strive for continual improvement.
