Position Summary
Manage customer engagement process and efforts of Solution Consultants on a day-to-day basis, manage the solution consultant team by daily works to support to drive implementation of discrete industry business plan.
Key Responsibilities
Do
? Manage domain expert engagement process, align technical resources allocation with business owner’s strategy and priorities.
? Qualify skill-set requirements of the engagement process of the domain expert’s engagement request.
? Quantify and visualize technical resources investment in different fields and customers, be responsible for technical resources utilization.
? Identify additional key support (BU/Industry/Commercial/Service) requirements and engage with respective owners.
? Assign Technical Consultants to engagement projects in accordance with skill set requirements.
? Be part of the engagement process for key application requirements, where necessary.
? Identify Competency level and skill set for individual team members, define and execute competency development plan with domain expert.
? Coaches the team on technical requirements, as appropriate.
? Lead the team to do the pre-sales support for the discrete customers.
? Keep close communication with the global discrete industry technical team and lead the team to support related initiatives and projects.
Job related competencies
? High level of expertise in Architecture and Software value proposition, differentiators, especially for core products (Logix, Network, Factorytalk, IIoT), understanding customer needs
? Intermediate level of expertise in Industry Knowledge, Application Knowledge, and Training Skills
? Basic level of expertise in Sales and Marketing Fundamentals, Prospecting & New Customer Development, Customer Relationship Management, Value-Based Selling, and Account Sales Maximizing.
Educational Qualifications / Work Experience
？ Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Automation is required
？ At least 10 years experience in the Auto&Tire industry
？ 5+ years leadership experience
？ 3+ years oversea project support experience
？ At least 2 consulting projects experience
？ Strong self- drive and ability of growth mindset.
？ Bilingual language skills for Mandarin and English are preferred.
