About the Role

We are looking for a System Engineer to:
Assume the technical responsibility for the entire development and integration of primarily Audio products for the professional markets globally. Secure the conformance, completeness and integrity of the design with respect to the product requirement specification. Act as the project managers technical wingman; ensuring progress and risks are balanced together with relevant internal and external stakeholders.

Your Team

This position will report to Director, Electronics. This position does not have any direct or indirect reports. However, Senior principal engineers are expected to exhibit strong leadership skills and mentor more junior engineers to help guide their careers and activities. This team is responsible for developing Professional Audio products including Passive Louder Speaker, Powered Speakers, Audio Amplifiers, Audio Signal Processors.

What You Will Do
• Understand the new product proposal from product manager, evaluate the feasibility with engineering team.
• Create and maintain product requirement specification and architecture design.
• Technically support project manager throughout the new product development process to ensure the new product is delivered on scope, time, cost, and quality.
• Coordinate with in-house, ODM and JDM engineering team developing audio products to ensure the product can meet the requirement.
• Pivot between product manager, project manager and engineering team.


What You Need

• Major in Engineering, e.g. Acoustic or Electronic or Mechanics, and min. 10 years’ experience for MS and 15 years’ for BS in development of Audio or Electrical products.
• Solid understanding in at least one of these areas: Acoustics, Firmware, Software, Hardware (preferred), Mechanic.
• Understand compliance, test and validation.
• Positive team builder with excellent communication skills.
• Fluent in English speech and writing.

What is Nice to Have
• Experience with Audio product development.
• Experience with JDM/ODM/OEM suppliers.
• Experience as Systems Engineer/Technical Lead or Training/Certification in Systems Engineering
• Experience with products for Professional Audio use scenario and associated standards.
• Experience with professional market (B2B), retail market (B2C) and associated standards.
