Job Summary
• This role is responsible for managing the entire department of Greater China Bid Desk team for deal special price management, sales support, developing sales support strategies, and allocating resources while fostering collaboration and a high-performance environment. The role engages with stakeholders, manages special price management processes, and monitors performance indicators. The role performs talent management and ensures compliance with laws and regulations while maintaining accurate documentation.
Responsibilities
• Manages the entire department of special price request management for sales support professionals, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure success and alignment with organizational goals.
• Develops and executes business support strategies and initiatives aligned with sales goals and overall business objectives.
• Allocates resources, including personnel and budget, to empower the team with the necessary tools and technology.
• Manages Bid Desk team on an operational level and suggests ideas to improve the organization’s effectiveness and efficiency.
• Fosters collaboration and facilitates communication between the Bid Desk team and other departments to optimize cross-functional operations.
• Monitors and tracks key performance indicators (KPIs), taking proactive measures to meet or exceed performance targets.
• Engages with internal and external stakeholders to handle escalations, address issues/concerns, and communicate change updates.
• Manages the organization's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, ensuring accurate tracking of leads, opportunities, and customer interactions.
• Performs talent management responsibilities including recruitment, performance management, coaching, and career development.
• Ensures compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies while maintaining accurate documentation.
Education & Experience Recommended
• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Sales, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 7-10 years of job-related experience or 5-7 years of management experience, preferably in customer support, sales operations, sales support, people management, or a related field.
