Main activities / responsibilities
• Liaise with all port agents to book the berth based on the long term Day by Day plan. Match the booking policy from each port and book as much as possible of the berths as per company wish. Make sure 100% bookings according to the Day by day plan in the end.

• Short term berth booking due to itinerary change

• Apply for visitor pass as applicable.

• Ensure excellent relationships are developed with the port, meet local terminal operation team, customs immigration, and local authorities, and make sure ship can have a smooth operation.

• Maintain good communication with terminal operator to ensure a smooth operation for passenger embarkation and disembarkation during normal and emergency operation.

• Coordinate a smooth Port Operation together with other departments, such as procurement, commercial operations, hotel operations, sales & marketing and ship’s management team.

• Keep daily communication with all port agents/CIQ, to make sure the smooth operation of the ship in each port.

• Together with Marine Controller assist with invoices for Port Operations as needed.

• Part of office crisis management team.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Previous experience with Port Operations.

Education and Language skills

• Excellent command of English written and spoken.
