Responsibilities:

• You are responsible for shaping a holistic remote service approach for medical devices in China that fits to local market needs (addressing the evolution of regulations), utilizes common technology and best practices (providing a cost-effective and regulatory-compliant solution).

• You perform a market analyzes for domestic remote service solutions and evaluate with the project team the impact across the entire organization (local / global service organization as well as the business lines). You define and execute corresponding measures while considering all potential options (in-house / external / hybrid solutions) as well as balancing the various interests.

• In your role, you are responsible for projects in their entirety (i.e., analysis, definition, implementation, and completion) with the aim of limiting risks, exploiting opportunities, and achieving project goals in required quality, on schedule and within budget. This includes the professional and continuous evaluation of costs, benefits as well as risks.

• You are in close exchange with the respective stakeholders of the local service organization, global headquarter functions and business lines. You report the project progress to the steering committee and communicate with the senior management.

• You possess a diverse toolbox to analyze interdependencies and develop solutions together with an international project team.

• You always keep the long-term goals in mind when developing solutions, weigh options comprehensively against each other, and lead them to a sustainable decision for our customers and the company.

Requirements:

• You can demonstrate many years of solid experience (around 10 Years) in project management, ideally with a focus on the implementation of IT solutions for Chinese market.

• You are proficient in various methods in agile and traditional project management and can ideally prove this with corresponding certifications.

• You also have several years of professional experience in the IT environment and have acquired very in-depth knowledge in the design, development, and operation of IT solutions (up-to-date technology stack is preferred, e.g., virtualization, containerization and cloud-native solutions) in order to be able to engage in technical discussions at eye level. Ideally, you already have experience with the DevOps model and an ITIL4 Foundation certification.

• You are proficient in various methods in agile and traditional project management and can ideally prove this with corresponding certifications.

• You have excellent social skills, negotiation skills, and assertiveness to develop and implement decisions across all professional disciplines and various hierarchical levels.

• You can demonstrate your communication strength in both Chinese and English with business fluency. You will be active in a global team in both Chinese and English-speaking environment.

• Your digital competencies in research, analysis, and preparation of data and information support you in efficiently identifying and solving challenges.

• You have completed a degree, preferably in an engineering discipline with a focus on project management or information technology.
