Description
China is a key strategic market for HSBC, representing significant growth potential for the group. To continue to drive a customer-led business and enable accelerated growth, the Pan-China WPB Customer Proposition and Marketing team covering Global Private Banking (GPB), Premier and Pinnacle will look to transform our client offerings and experiences to truly delight our clients. The team will also look to reinforce our brand in the market and cement our positioning as a leading wealth manager and international bank.
As an integral part of the team, this role will be tasked with leveraging a customer-led lens to develop best-in-class proposition offers that differentiate HSBC from our competitors.
We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team.
In this role, you will:
Have a strong understanding of market best practices and standards in order to understand what “good looks like” and where we can invest time and resources to differentiate ourselves
Be able to take a customer-led lens to understand HSBC’s current proposition offers and what’s working / not working
Develop a meaningful EBS proposition for Premier customer portfolio growth through a robust collaboration mechanism with Group EBS team and GB/CMB.
Lead the Premier propositions development for different customer persona, based on customer insights (from both external market research and internal analytics), and determine the optimal products and services (along with the relevant sales and service model) to be provided to the target customers to best fulfill their needs
Work with Group and relevant local stakeholder, including but not limited to IWS, distribution, data analytics, etc to implement the proposition offer, enhancing customer experience, thus supporting Premier customer growth, and value uplift by deepening of client relationships
Work closely with Marketing to develop marketing programs and initiatives to ensure that key business programs and initiatives are promoted and communicated (including both above the line communication as well as below the line) to the target audience in the most effective and efficient manner (including both digital / online as well as non-digital /offline)
Post implementation, ensure there’s a holistic review mechanism to evaluation program effectiveness for future improvement
Manage and lead Premier proposition team, to engage & motivate team members, fostering harmonious team culture to encourage ownership, cooperation and delivery
Qualifications
To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:
Bachelor above degree
Minimum 10 years of customer segmentation experience
Customer-centric, with the ability to clearly understand and analyze the needs, wants and behavior of customers, thorough understanding of customer segmentation and management techniques, as well as the products supported and the regulation & governance impacted
Strong planning, analytical, communications & influencing skills
Ability to act on own initiative and exercise creativity in problem solving, coordinating a wide variety of solutions into one or more projects
Strong decision making capability by leveraging solid market/customer insight, and business judgement
Strong leadership and team management skills with proven record
Fluent in English and Mandarin
