As a Solution Architect, you must demonstrate:

I/O Content Knowledge (e.g., employee selection, high-potential identification, leader selection and development, succession planning): Is an expert in multiple content areas, with foundational knowledge in other content areas.

Commercial Sales Acumen: Ability to explore and diagnose client need, shape and scope solutions that meet those needs, and actively participate in influencing and persuading clients to a decision.

Client Relationship Management: Grow existing client relationships by partnering with Account Managers to define and scope clients’ future talent acquisition and talent management needs.

Scoping Solutions and Professional Services: Partners with Professional Services and/or commercial team members to scope solutions and project work by defining the solution vision, presenting proposed work to clients, refining scope, pricing, and preparing statements of work. Joins commercial team members for onsite presentation as required.

Driving Continuous Improvement: Works with delivery and commercial teams to drive improvements in our internal processes to ensure we work in a scalable, high-quality, and efficient manner (e.g., creating and refining presentations, templates, etc.).

Knowledge of SHL Solutions, Products, and Services: Demonstrates awareness across the breadth of SHL offerings, demonstrating deeper expertise in at least one or two areas. Prepares enablement assets (i.e., slides, scope) in areas of expertise for client presentations.

Thought Leadership: Engage in thought leadership activities to drive sales pipeline creation through Webinars, Blogs, etc.

Project Delivery: May shadow complex or pioneering projects or programs to expand understanding of SHL offerings and strengthen pre-sales capability.

What we’re looking for:

A graduate degree in Industrial-Organizational psychology or a related discipline or equivalent work experience

Proficient English listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills

Has a strong technical I/O and/or HR background

Proven track record in a customer-facing role in either Talent Management or Talent Acquisition, as either an internal practitioner or external consultant.

Experience with designing and scoping solutions and proposal writing.

Has expertise and experience in consulting, implementation, or professional services.

Understands the professional services sales cycle.
