Purpose:

Manage the sourcing activities to ensure material supplying and pursue with high performance supplier base, in terms of right cost, service, quality.


Responsibilities:

1. Potential supplier prospecting

- Identify, assess and new potential suppliers and existing supplier capabilities expansion.

- Collaborate with suppliers and commodity managers to address capability and business running gaps.

2. Business case execution.

- Lead and manage the Business case execution, track and report the progress.

- Working closely with engineering and quality team to identify and implement the projects of cost saving, quality, productivity, service improvement at suppliers.

3. Commodity strategy Lead/support and deployment.

- Lead/Support commodity manager to develop commodity and supplier strategies.

- Manage the strategy execution such as supplier phase out, dual sourcing, re-sourcing, etc.....

4. Supplier management & Negotiation

- Manage Asia suppliers scorecards programs for Delivery, PPAP, Lead-time, Quality.

- Maintain Purchase Data in system for Int'l business.

- Support the commercial negotiation with suppliers.

5. Continually improvement.

- Identify and execute the process improvement events, related to sourcing and supplier development.

6. Support for the new sourcing employee training.


Key Qualifications:

1. College degree or above.

2. At least 5 years' experience in sourcing and supplier management

3. Fluent in English and Mandarin.

4. Result oriented, Strong sense of accountability and responsibility.

5. Strong Teamwork spirit, good skill in negotiation, communication.

6. Good PC skill, Ms office, MRP(SAP knowledge is preferred)

7. Willing for business trips in Asia.

Better Qualifications

1. Working experience in plumbing(familiar with process in Stamping, Cast, Inject plastic......)
