RESPONSIBLITIES职责:
1. Responsible for assisting corporate engineering team during construction effort to ensure project is constructed in accordance with safety, design, budget, and schedule. Includes interfacing with Kemin stakeholders, Architecture and Engineering firms, Jianli, contractors, subcontractors, vendors, equipment suppliers, and government Authorities Having Jurisdiction, etc.
2. Experience in Food or Pet Food manufacturing and other industrial facilities
3. Lead project team meetings and steering committee meetings.
4. Reads and understands contract plans and specifications. Has a full understanding of project scope of work, construction materials and methods and contracts.
5. Thorough understanding of requirements related to all government Authorities Having Jurisdiction including zoning approvals, plan approvals, permitting, environmental approvals, fire protection approvals, inspections requirements, occupancy requirements, etc.
6. Responsible for assisting corporate engineering in activities to ensure project progresses on schedule and within budget.
7. Provide ongoing status reports - develop, review, and obtain confirmation of financial and project schedule activities for design and construction as they relate to all disciplines involved and report to management.
8. Assure that the design and construction teams comply with the agreements, contract documents and established schedule and budget.
9. Serve as a representative at meetings, presentations, and public hearings/reviews relative to assigned projects.
10. Enforce corporate safety policies.
11. Attend and/or lead regular pre-construction design meetings, virtual design coordination meetings and weekly Owner-Architect-Contractor construction coordination meetings.
12. Maintain official project documentation files, photo documentation, inspection records, etc. on each project.
13. Ensure contractors capture and maintain project as-built record documents and other close-out documents.
14. Participate in negotiations involving Kemin, contractors and/or subcontractors and other vendors.
15. Assist in the commissioning activities and documenting results.
16. Perform additional duties as assigned.
17. Responsible for working with contractors, sub-contractors, and finance.
18. Has worked with or understands stage gate approval process approach to projects.
19. Support and follow all safety procedures and protocols for a safe and clean work environment; Educate and direct personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources; maintain compliance with established policies and procedures.
20. Provide overall leadership and day-to-day direction of the manufacturing department.
21. Complete production plan by coordinating work schedule and personnel assignment, accomplishing work results, establishing priorities, monitoring progress, revising schedules, and resolving problems.
22. Monitor product consistency and ensure quality in finished product through a variety of assessments (e.g. appearance, texture, pH, temperature, moisture, consistency, etc.)
23. Maintain positive and collaborative working relationships with all departments towards continuous plant improvements and capital projects.
24. Monitor inventories to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing.
25. Ensure that employees in department receive proper job training.
26. Ensure operation of equipment by calling for repairs; evaluating and recommending new equipment and techniques.
27. Achieve and maintain regulatory and quality compliance standards.
28. Control and consistently meet cost metrics.
29. Read process flow charts, write, update, and follow standard operating procedures.
30. Follows and maintains an environment of food and/or feed safety in compliance with rules and regulations, as applicable.
QUALIFICATIONS任职资格:
1. Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience which includes managing people, manufacturing processes, and capital project management. Experience in food or pet food manufacturing (meat based)
2. Understanding of enzymatic hydrolyzation of meats to generate flavor compounds.
3. Experience in new facility start-ups.
4. Strong experience in building a positive working culture within a manufacturing site.
5. Ability to trouble shoot equipment failures within a production line.
6. Able to communicate fully with vendors/service technicians to optimize equipment.
7. Knowledge of PLC controls.
8. Ability to build development plans for successors.
9. Create a positively engaged working team.
10. Cross functional understanding of other functions.
