For the first 6 months (covering for a maternity):
- Report to Senior Marketing Manager based in Hong Kong;
- Deliver and execute integrated marketing plans across multiple channels (events/ webinars, digital/social media, content marketing, and PR/ thought leadership) in collaboration with the broader marketing organization and segment marketing leadership to support key business objectives in the APAC region;
- Collaborate, develop and drive regional marketing activity to ensure consistency of brand messaging and in alignment with the overall global marketing strategy;
- Assist in the management and implementation of a calendar of all regional marketing events and activities;
- Develop event plans and manage the execution and successful delivery of activities, ensuring alignment among all key stakeholders;
- Collaborate with respective teams/ parties to collect metrics on the activities, and prepare relevant reports to evaluate the success of activities and identify improvement opportunities;
- Act as the champion of WeChat account to support the pulse of weekly social post to drive awarness and assist in lead generation/ conversion;
- Write, proofread and edit copy for a variety of marketing collateral in both English and Simplified Chinese;
- Manage content/ editorial translations as required;
- Create assets and content to promote the business and solutions to relevant target markets, including factory and brand owner clients in the APAC apparel, general retail and aftermarket segments;
- Draft and submit project briefs to Creative team that are clear, complete and actionable;
- Ensure all activity is executed according to plan and within budget;
- Administration work such as budget tracking, payment process and vendor creation to maintain a smooth workflow of the marketing organization.
For the next 6 months:
- Report to Events Manager based in USA;
- Manage the planning, production, and execution of APAC regional trade shows and events, including physical and digital events such as webinars, speaker panels, customer events, and budget management.
- Collaborate with the wider Marketing and PR teams to ensure all activity is aligned with the business strategy
- Collaborate with the wider Marketing and PR team to create messaging, collateral, and presentations associated with events
- Develop and lead the project management for events in APAC, ensuring that each action has an owner and deadlines are met
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with the wider Marketing team and business stakeholders to ensure that events meet business objectives
- Manage relationships with vendors
- Coordinate event activities to integrate seamlessly with multi-channel campaigns and customer communications
- Be the main point of contact for APAC events planning and logistics, ensuring that sign-off deadlines are met and teams are well-informed
- Lead the event team on the ground and ensure that events run smoothly and challenges are faced with a solution-driven approach
- Collaborate with the social media team to ensure events and activities are promoted in the moment
- Create recap decks addressing successes and key learnings
- Assist with arranging freight for delivery and pick up to and from the show site
- Be on-site for all tradeshow build-outs as scheduling allows; act as point person and project leader when the Marketing Manager is unable to attend
- Research, source, and distribute props (fixture packages, display, furnishings, etc.) for trade shows and events
- Coordinate event inventory and assets.
- Manage a defined budget, per event.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5-year working experience in Marketing, events and project management experience in an apparel/fashion/technology environment
- Prior experience in working with regional marketing team or sizable multi-national company is preferred;
- Hands-on, solutions-oriented attitude with a strong commitment to strive for organizational success
- Experience in proactive outreach for driving action and execution, and collaborating with peers for a shared positive outcome for the business
- Strength in driving multiple large complex projects simultaneously
- Willingness and ability to take accountability and with a positive attitude
- Strategic thinker with an ability to align all activities to help drive commercial goals
- Excellent organizational skills
- Proven record of attention to detail
- Excellent writing, editing, and presentation abilities, with the ability to develop engaging content for event promotion and post-show recaps.
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
- Experience working effectively across diverse cultures and operating structures; proven ability to excel in a global environment
- Experience working with content creators (videographers, photographers, etc.)
