Duties & Responsibilities: -
1. Monitor Purchasing Requests for Machineries/ Equipment/ Construction/ Indirect Materials & Services.
? Project liaison with Vendors/ Contractors
? Liaise between internal users and vendors on performance and A/P
? Make recommendation to internal users on proper purchasing policies & procedures
? Ensure contractors to meet the target completion date at the lowest practical price and in consistent with required quality.
? Execute the PR, PO and contract, monitor the procurement flow to payment.
2. Standardization of major contracted terms/conditions on corporate perspectives
? Resolve problems associated with internal customer satisfaction and fulfill projects requirement related to Indirect Materials, Services, Engineering and Infrastructure for Taipo and other plants.
? Monitor and provide guidance for purchasing team in Global as Head Quarter Role
? Support vendor audits
3. Sourcing regular & new supple bases for machineries /equipment /building/Indirect Materials & Services.
4. Vendor Management & new Vendor record control
5. Explore and identify synergies in cost reduction and quality improvement
6. Ad hoc Projects (eg. Corporate Insurance, Office Renovation, Staff Canteen, Mobile Phones, Leasing of Computers/Servers etc) and other enquiries assigned by function team
7. Handling purchases & follow-up of Trading Items.
II. JOB SPECIFICATION
Education & Experience: -
? Bachelor Degree Holder or above in related discipline
? At least 5 years purchasing management experience within FMCG (preferably F&B) manufacturing environment
Requirements & Skills: -
? A high standard of integrity
? Good spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua)
? Good inter-personal skills
? Maintain the highest standard of professional competence and integrity.
? Well organized & detail-minded, strong compliance with deadlines
? Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel (knowledge on Pivot Table is a must)
? Sound knowledge in ERP (preferably SAPSRM)
? Some travels when needed.
