KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Sales Analysis
• Assist the Vice President with requirements and ensure all issues related to sales are attended timely and pro-active actions are taken.
• Prepare and submit statistical data on monthly and quarterly basis, for example, analysis of sales value, Profit, volume by product level, by sub-region level, sales and Profit development analysis… Monitor sales progress as per budget plan and keep the Vice President updated with the sales status in time.
• Consolidate sub-region input to prepare regional monthly report and pre-minutes for the monthly business meetings. Communicate with Sales Managers and Finance to offer detail and standard information to higher level, and improve information quality.
• Provide presentation slides or reports to Commercial Director for specific meeting, and participate the meeting when needed.
• Market research about export and domestic market development for textile and apparel, follow up closely about key export destinations as USA, Europe and key areas in the region…
• Initiate ad hoc business analysis according to changing business situation, for example, analysis for unexpected low profitability business / drop down business, seek out reasons behind and communicate with the VP and Sales Directors to clarify problem, and try to find solutions and potential improvement points for more healthy and sustainable business.
• Monitor product cost change through product price and Net Margin analysis, initiate communication with PM or Finance for unexpected situation to seek out cost trend or cost allocation detail, and give comments or suggestions to the VP and RMMs/SDs to do necessary adjustment about product focus or pricing strategy.
• Coordinate among Supply Chain, Finance and Sales Team to evaluate business under special supply situation, as phase out product, stock clearance.
Price Administration
• Support the VP to calculate and issue regional LL according to global product strategy. Review regional LL when receive new global LL.
• Support the RMMs for product pricing strategy through sales value and profitability analysis.
• Analyze business change according to price adjustment, including dealer price change and MI, give comments or possible suggestion about pricing strategy for specific items; communicate with RMMs/SDs about the finding and support for actions.
• Draw up new China price audit process; communicate with Sales Support for implementation, and do quarterly price audit.
• Coordinate among GPM/RMM, the VP/SDs to draft China Pricing Process according to global guideline and China reality under new organization structure, communicate with Sales Support for implementation and support pricing operation and management to be in compliance with SOX requirements.
• Support the VP/SDs for SOX audit about pricing management.
Process Management
• Responsible for Process Management in commercial team in the region. Supervise process implement in commercial team in the region to comply with company standard.
• Initiate communication with global process manager and local process owners to establish local processes when global process is not detail enough for local usage or not fit for local special situation.
• Initiate communication about local processes when environment change as re-organization, to review local processes.
• Internal audit in Commercial Team in region or support process owners to pass ISO re-certificate audit.
