Job Summary: As the Vice President of Quality Assurance for the Garden Tools and DIY Tools category, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and performance across our product lines. You will lead a team of quality assurance professionals, develop and implement quality strategies, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and oversee the implementation of quality assurance policies, procedures, and standards for the Garden Tools and DIY Tools category.

Lead a team of quality assurance professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and training to ensure adherence to quality standards.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, manufacturing, and supply chain, to drive quality improvements throughout the product lifecycle.

Establish quality metrics, key performance indicators (KPIs), and benchmarks to monitor and evaluate product quality and performance.

Conduct regular quality audits, inspections, and testing to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Investigate customer feedback, complaints, and quality issues to identify root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives, such as Lean Six Sigma methodologies, to optimize quality processes and enhance overall product quality.

Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in quality assurance to drive innovation and competitiveness in the market.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.

Minimum of 10 years of experience in quality assurance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the garden tools, DIY tools, or related industry.

Proven track record of developing and implementing quality strategies that drive tangible business results.

Strong knowledge of quality management systems, regulatory requirements, and industry standards related to garden tools and DIY tools.

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across different functional teams.

Certification in quality management (e.g., Six Sigma, ASQ) is a plus.
