Objective
Responsible for the whole Software Update solution integration based on latest Mercedes-Benz E/E architecture.
Responsible Software Update customer requirements, system requirements, software requirements, architecture design, planning and implementation, end-to-end verification in each PI to meet program milestones.
Analyze Software Update system level issue & locate root cause and lead team to fix it.
Familiar with the detail Software Update requirement include all related ECUs based on above Software Update solution following Mercedes-Benz development process.
Support cybersecurity security team to design security mechanism for Software Update
Support the Software Update rollout campaign data analysis with Mercedes-Benz internal process to make sure Software Update rollout could be success and on time.
Support Software Update regulation compliance certificate and filling testing activities.
Responsible for change/risk control, delivery timing track, problem resolution of Software Update function in vehicle development life cycles of design/development/production/post-production to ensure the Software Update function deliver success.
Develop/conduct vehicle level Software Update test procedures include test case design, test process, result analysis, and problem resolution.
Support other related teams like vehicle testing, validation and manufacture.

Qualification

Education
Bachelor degree or above, 6+ years working experience, 3+ years working experience in Software Update requirement, design, implementation and project execution in Automotive industry.

Experience
Experience in Software Update, Network communication & diagnosis, Onboard-Offboard communication.
Proficient with vehicle Software Update and diagnostic update feature, requirement, technical logic, and operation process, can give the /design/solution independently.
Good understanding and/or knowledge of automotive electronics architecture.
Familiar with vehicle Buses, e.g. CAN, LIN, Ethernet and bus protocol like UDS, DOIP, SOME/IP, and related diagnostic mechanism.
Familiar with onboard-offboard communication chain.
Familiar with cybersecurity mechanisms.
Fluent oral English communication capability to internal/global teams and customers.
With team-work spirit, communication skill, task and work planning skill, and self-motivated.

Knowledge
Familiar with SoC/MCP/MPU platform hardware and software architect is preferred.
Familiar with China and European Software Update regulation and SUMS management system is preferred.
Knowledge of Linux/Android/QNX environment and OS is preferred.
Experience in Software Update or diagnostic update software development, onboard-offboard communication, cybersecurity is preferred.
