RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead the overall Finance and Accounting function including financial planning and analysis, management reporting as well as compliance and corporate governance; provide useful and timely financial information, analysis, insights, and advice to the team
• Formulate financial strategies and targets for the business. The Finance VP will participate in all strategic decisions which will have financial implications for the business
• Ensure accurate and complete financial reporting versus agreed targets and provide gap analyses as well as recommendation of corrective measures
• Ensure compliance with Group and local standards, regulations, guidelines, and risk management; hands-on approach to take care of quarterly/year end closing in line with the regulations
• Oversee internal control and review internal audit procedures
• Provide executive management with advice on the financial implications of business activities
• Corporate with different departments on various projects including M&A initiatives or major capital transactions when required
• Have a hands-on mentality and take responsibility for the overall financial and accounting aspects of the organization
• Manage staff directly reporting to the position in terms of career development, educating and coaching, and performance target setting

REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor's degree in Finance or related discipline with professional accounting qualification(s)
• Prior training within a Big 4 audit firm would be highly valued
• Solid experience in business transformations and strategic planning & execution
• Minimum of 6 years in management capacity with hands-on experience in managing a sizable team. Able to motivate the team in producing quality works in tight timeframes
• Passion to drive the business forward, and propel innovations, strong in challenging business ideas
• Ability to communicate and act at Executive Level
• Positive and energetic with strong business acumen
• Proficient in English and Mandarin (both written and spoken)
