Position Summary:
1) Responsible for the logistics and transportation of all materials, including but not limited to raw materials, WIP, FG, machineries etc.to meet customer requirements.
2) Responsible for all aspects of warehouse (Bonded and Non-bonded) operations from receiving through issuance/shipment and inventory management.
3) Drive operational excellence and systematic improvement in warehouse/logistics processes through identifying best practices and Kaizen activities
4) Deliver solutions to operational, imports / exports or customer issues. Handles freight loss and damage claims where applicable
5) Ensure metrics, reports, solid analysis and process documentation is available and followed Work closely with Global Logistics team on RFQ process and responsible for site implementation.
6) Follow SOP,KPI to monitor performance such as compliance with company/regulatory requirements for product transit or delivery, quality, responsiveness, on time delivery and cost.
7) Logistics service provider (LSP) and 3PL management, conducts monthly review to drive continuous process improvements.
8) Establish/sustain effective and efficient freight audit process/tool to ensure LSPs are paid the right amount and on time.
9) Facilitates and coordinates the attainment of customs related licenses where applicable, such as brand authorizing.
10) Ensure effective implementation and compliance of Lumileds Supply Chain Security (SCS) policies and procedures, majority on 3rd party warehouse.
11) SAP WMS model key user.
What You Will Bring (REQUIRED Qualifications):
• Knowledge of SAP or other ERP system
• Advanced level / skill in Microsoft Excel, good level of Microsoft PowerPoint
• Effective verbal and written communication skills in English
• Excellent in inter-personal skills, communication, analytical, and problem solving
Competency and Skills
• Knowledge of HS code classification
• Warehouse management for both Non-bonded and Bonded
• Adequate experience on Bonded Handbook
• Local and international customs regulations
• Export control regulations
• Forwarder and freight management
