University of Nottingham Ningbo China is seeking to recruit an HR Development and Engagement Officer. This position is to maternity cover by outsourced company for 8 months.
Main Responsibilities:
- Assist line manager in the development and implementation of HR strategy and plans.
- Conduct market research to plan engagement projects/activities.
- Develop, organize and promote staff engagement projects/activities to increase internal communications and enrich engaging culture.
- Process Chinese certificates applications.
- Support and promote staff learning and development programmed/courses.
- Support the development, implementation and maintenance of Learning Portal and e-learning platform.
- Support manager to deliver projects and lead projects when asked.
- Answer staff enquires and provide professional advice to junior colleagues for complicated and escalated issues.
Requirements
Essential:
- University degree in HR, Business, Marketing, Communication, English or other related discipline;
- Proficient computer skills (e.g. Microsoft Office) and in-depth knowledge of data processing and analysis.
- Good command of both English and Chinese, Excellent presentation and writing skills;
- Experience of planning and organizing training s and activities. Strong communications and interpersonal skills.
Desirable:
- Overseas study experience, master's degree in HR, Business.
- Knowledge and experience of using HRM system, e.g. PeopleSoft and learning management system.
- Familiar with theories, models and technology tools used in the field of development and engagement.
- Relevant knowledge and experience in Equity, Diversity and Inclusion.
