Reports to: Senior Solution Lead
Section: Finance and Procurement
Sr. ABAP Developer is responsible for building reliable, secure and highly-scalable IT systems solution for complex business problems by understanding and translating user needs into business and technical requirements and collaborating with crucial stakeholders to design, develop, test, integrate and implement these solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and understand business processes and requirements to identify opportunities for ABAP developments in SAP S4/HANA and SAP WF, SAP Fiori.
• Design, develop, and implement excellent quality ABAP stack solution.
• Analyze and translate user needs into business and technical requirements, design, develop and ensure smooth implementation through collaboration with business and IT stakeholders.
• Conduct thorough testing of the ABAP solutions to ensure functionality, reliability, and performance.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including process flows, design specifications, and user guides.
• Provide training and support to junior developers on SAP ABAP best practices.
• Collaborate with SAP functional experts to ensure quality and timely delivery of SAP ABAP solutions with existing business processes.
• Continuously monitor SAP S4/HANA platform and resolve any issues or bugs that may arise.
• Manage QA deliverables in detail and ensure any defects and non-compliance in standards addressed promptly.
• Work independently to ensure successful, on-time delivery of project/enhancement by anticipating dependencies and impediments, prioritizing multiple stakeholders and tasks, making trade-offs between business needs and constraints, and managing work time efficiently.
Requirements


• Bachelor’s (or equivalent education qualifications) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related disciplines
• A minimum of 10 years of SAP ABAP experience, including but not limited to - Workflow, Fiori, OData, SmartForms, Adobe Forms in designing, developing, and implementing solutions.
• Proven experience with SAP ABAP preferably with a middleware like SAP PI/PO etc.
• Working experience in S4 HANA is must.
• Deep expertise in SAP Workflow and/or SAP Fiori / OData is must.
• Experience with software development methodologies, such as Agile and Scrum.
• Good knowledge of enhancement framework, workflow enhancements, complex data structures, file processing, IDoc processing / enhancements, screen enhancements, Fiori tile config, Fiori App extensions.
• Well-developed analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, leveraging both logic and creativity
• Ability to interact professionally with diverse groups of stakeholders
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong verbal and written presentation skills
• Strong understanding of business process analysis and optimization techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and consistency.
• Client facing experience with successful relationship management is a plus.
• Airline or travel industry knowledge is highly beneficial.
