Job Objective
This job is to provide strong management on application services to DBS China business units and service units in conjunction with cross-region collaboration and deployment, especially to ensure the quality of software delivery.
Principal Responsibilities
1) Working with group teams, local teams and external vendor and partners to manage and deliver business initiatives and projects thru project management and software development life cycle to business units and service units.
2) Working closely and proactively with business units and service units on transformation, digitization, customer experience improvement and process optimization etc.
3) Especially focus on quality assurance of IT deliverables by strengthening the Test and Validation mechanism and maintain high standard of key control artifacts on quality.
4) Working with local and cross-region teams to deliver system enhancements and ad-hoc tasks and requests.
5) Not only covering functional but also non-functional resilience and quality, for IT enabling and transformation activities (e.g. re-platform, SRE, application modernization, EOL/EOS, Patch/NVS fixing).
6) Co-ordinate and maintain productive working relationships with service providers and work closely with teams on production issue analysis and resolving within SLA.
7) Compiles with bank polices, processes, procedures, and methodologies particularly in software development, project management and infrastructure deployment.
8) Participate in Risk management, Incident management, Vendor management.
Job Dimensions
Work closely with local and regional teams to manage and deliver business initiatives and projects as well as to ensure the production stability and resilience. We measure this role’s success by evaluating if he/she has successfully maintain software delivery quality at high standard.
Requirements
Bachelor on computer science or related, with 10+ years of working experience in software development.
In-depth knowledge and experience in banking or financial products and system platforms especially on middle office and reporting systems related with hands-on experience.
Experience in business analysis and translating business requirement into detailed technical design and test cases.
Multiple project management skills and experience and be familiar with SDLC and Agile (PMP and Scrum master preferred).
At minimum, experience with 5 years of project management.
Proficiency in spoken and written English, strong ability to communicate with non-technical teams and multiple nations.
Proactive, positive, independent, teamwork, highly self-study and organized, and be able to work under pressure.
Quality assurance related work experience is a strong plus
Solid knowledge in banking end-to-end processing is preferable.
