We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team.
In this role, you will:
- To direct and oversee the operations of Direct Custody & Clearing (DCC), MSS OPS in accordance with local regulations and client requirement for servicing offshore institutional clients; ensuring smooth, efficient and error-free operations of the department and maintaining the leading position in the industry.
- To re-engineer operation process and optimize operation efficiency and productivity.
- To embed a client centric culture and drive initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction.
- To review, design and implement risk control measures for operation teams.
- To maintain good working relationship with clients, regulators and industry participants.
- To develop a sound understanding of market regulations and practices and drive change in the China market to align it with international best practice and demonstrate to clients our commitment to the business, leadership in the market and ability to influence market changes.
- To manage the largest onshore operation teams and retain the expertise to deliver the unparalleled service.
Qualifications
To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor degree or above.
- 10-15 years extensive working experience in the custodian bank or securities industry in operation management role, and be familiar with the QFII, RQFII, CIBM business.
- Able to manage multiple tasks, handle changing priorities, deliver to tight deadlines and deal with ambiguity/conflicts.
- Engaging effectively with the wider MSS teams and other stakeholders, working across boundaries.
- Positive, dynamic and resilient individual, open to change and able to adapt to evolving circumstances.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and people management skill.
- Good command in English/Mandarin.
