Responsibilities:
1)Support, optimize, and automate Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) and Application Virtualization service delivery.
2)Architect and design secure remote access solution for enterprise.
3)Implement golden image, application profiling solutions to streamline OS build and patch efficiencies.
4)Integrate diverse endpoint management solutions in both Session Hosted and Dedicated Hosted environments supporting general purpose and power users.
5)Swiftly address service issues and drive problem actions to maintain productivity.
6)Proactive monitoring of performance and user experience with custom performance dashboards using endpoint analytics and statistic modelling tools.
7)Maintain uptime availability within SLAs and drive performance improvement plan.
8)Analyze performance trend and drive proactive improvement actions as part of demand and capacity management.
9)Automate infrastructure support maintenance tasks including system backup, recovery, disaster recovery, and business continuity tests.
10)Provide guidance, training, and feedback to Level 1 and 2 support teams. Drive enhancement to key SOPs to improve end user support and vulnerability management targets as a team.
Requirements
1)Minimum 8 years experience in VDI service operations and solution engineering.
2)Proficient in Citrix architecture for on-premise setup, including XenDesktop, XenApp, NetScaler ADM and WAF.
3)Manage configuration management across platforms with GPO and automated endpoint management solutions.
4)Engineer custom OS build for virtual desktops and develop automated processes for OS upgrade and patch cycles.
5)Engineer solutions to integrate with in-house management system to allow managing the environment using modularized Powershell scripting.
6)Engineer custom solutions around the Windows environment including integration with different in-house systems using Infrastructure as Code.
7)Experience in evaluation of commercial solutions and large-scale migration among Citrix, Horizon Azure Virtual Desktop, and DaaS platforms.
8)Experience in integration with M365, Microsoft Authenticator, SCCM, Microsoft Defender and CarbonBlack solutions.
9)Experience in VDI/app performance monitoring and observability for effective root cause analysis.
10)Strong customer centric and result-oriented mindset.
