In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
1.Through critical insight on customer biopharmaceutical manufacturing processes, support the team to formulate strategies to develop and support solutions that meet or exceed customers’ needs and expand Biotech business by gaining market share in existing and new account. Continuously develop a network of key decision makers.
2.Communicate business strategy and tactics clearly to the sales team and provide feedback to colleagues, on progress, opportunities, and challenges in the zone.
3.Lead and support sales funnel reviews to meet business targets. Build a zone business plan and set quarterly priorities to achieve defined business goals.
4.Responsible for talent management to ensure the continued development for direct reports. Create trusted relationships with your team members; Understand what they value and support them in achieving their development goals. Coach the team to enhance their network and identify challenging / stretch roles or projects to support career progression.
5.Understand the performance and development planning process. Partner with your team to create objectives, measure performance progress against objectives and close gaps with appropriate action plan.
6.Build a strong internal network to drive maximum synergy and customer satisfaction across the business. Work effectively with internal functions, including the account management team, other sales specialists, service engineering, product management, marketing, finance, legal, scientific support, service sales and customer service.

The essential requirements of the job include:
1.Sales techniques and prospecting capabilities.
2.Product knowledge and ability to translate technical advantages into business benefits.
3.Bachelor’s Degree or above in life sciences or relevant field such as biotechnology, biopharmaceutical, and bioengineering
4.10+ years commercial experience, preferably in the Biotechnology/ Biopharma industry.
5.Willingness to travel within your specified geographic region with occasional overnight stays depending on geography and business need.
6.Must be objective and measurable, eg. education, years of experience per GCRF job leveling guidelines (do not cap years of experience), specific systems proficiency or industry experience.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
1.Familiar with Qlik Sense and Salesforce system.
2.Understand the significant importance of Funnel Management and Daily Management.
3.Know and understand DBS system.
