Responsibilities

Specific tasks within the scope of responsibility include:
• Project-related close collaboration with the IMPE and IMTO teams

• Leading and coordinating projects related to the procurement of plastic injection molding molds

• Implementation of strategic directives in respective projects

• Close collaboration with respective mold builders (both internal and external)

• Planning and leading project meetings, both internally and with external suppliers and custom-ers

• Continuous work on identifying and implementing improvement opportunities regarding mold construction for plastic injection molding

• Developing standard documents

• Reporting and analysis to the Team Leader IMPM

• Developing cost-effective solutions to optimize materials and resources and reduce production costs without compromising quality

• Internal and external consultancy regarding Industrial Engineering

• Tracking realization dates and progress for components of each project scope

• Creating project-related presentations

• Demonstrating and documenting the development and continuous improvement of global pro-jects

• Collaboration with other departments such as design, manufacturing, and quality assurance to enhance efficiency and quality
Requirements

Education

• Successfully completed training as a technician in mold construction or equivalent qualification with several years of experience in mold construction
Background / Personal Skills

• Professional experience in mold construction

• Profound knowledge in the mold design of injection molds

• Good knowledge of common quality assurance procedures and tools

• Teamwork and good communication skills

• Ability to work concentrated and reliably under pressure

• Analytical thinking and ability to solve complex problems

• Fluent in English for negotiations
