RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for implementing and continuously updating a comprehensive market information database to function as a primary tool for understanding market size and industrial trends.
- Responsible for initiating and conducting marketing studies of individual and regional markets for evaluating business opportunities including new product market research studies.
- Responsible for conducting an ongoing analysis of distribution strengths and weaknesses in cooperation with the Sales Management staff:
- Responsible for the primary market research activities using outside consultants and Research Houses as necessary. Responsible for project definition, objectives, design, implementation
- Responsible for collecting, analyzing and maintaining a competitor information system in cooperation with Product Managers.
- Responsible for organizing an efficient, current and readily accessible library of information including competitors, competitive products, etc.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Master's Degree.
- 3-5 years’ experience in marketing research, commercial consulting, auditing or analysis.
- Good spoken and written English language skills
- Detail oriented and thorough
