Major Responsibilities:

 Be the voice of the customer and communicate customer specific quality requirements to Nexteer organization

 Deliver Nexteer QA output to customer QA/SQE

 Representative quality for all CPI/Project “Systems & Electronics” activities such as (MQ1/MQ2, FMEAs, PPAP, Line Side Review, Design Review, BOM Risk assessment, Prototype Build, Launch, etc.)

 Build QA CPI Plan (QA Wall Chart) and follow it until get all QA CPI delivery on time and on quality; follow QA CPI RASIC. Lead quality assurance activities for EPS/CIS/Half shaft

 Collaborate with the Supplier Quality team particularly for new suppliers, suppliers providing safety/compliance parts and parts with key characteristics

 As customer standpoint to work with PDT members for multiple activities (base on CPI Swim line), drive team to stop and fix any issue or risk activity base on PDT discussed.

 Ensure lessons learned are captured，Lead lessons learned activity and drive cross function team to implement lessons learned

 Participate/lead design/ process compliance audits both internally and externally

 Facility Core Design Robust Review

 Support R&D for high frequency design consultation

 Support DFMA (Design for manufacture & Assembly) review

 Participate/lead design/ process compliance audits both internally and externally

 Accept other job responsibilities as required by Supervisor

 Maintain safety and good housekeeping

 Follow Nexteer Procedures and Processes, such as Internal Control (IC) procedures, Pursuit and CPI process


Skills and Abilities/Qualification:

 Master’s degree in mechanical engineering or Automotive relevant disciplines

 Creativity & System Thinking Logic

 Working with plan

 Drive for results

 Big- Picture Thinking and good ownership

 Functional/Technical skills

 Learning on the fly

 Problem Solving

 Communication Skill

 Knowledge of total quality tools (5M, SPC,6 Sigma..)

 Good interpersonal skills
Experience:

 At least 5 years’ working experiences, quality or engineer role in Automotive industry preferred.

 EPS experience preferred
Training (based on the need):

 IATF 16949

 Problem solving method – 8D, 6 Sigma..

 APQP

 Program Management

 MSA/SPC

 FEMA
