Your work environment:

You will participate in the software development of embedded functions for the next generation of calculators with a service-oriented (SOA) architecture. You will be responsible for designing, developing, integrating, and debugging software developed by the team or our suppliers to ensure the delivery of end-to-end functionalities of the embedded system in vehicles.


Your main missions:

You will be in interface with Agile based organizations, electronic architects, system teams, electronic development drivers, validation teams, and suppliers. You will interact with all these teams in the Software Factory as well as our automotive partners.

You’ll technically drive the team in the review of Software architecture specifications, realization of detailed design, code, tests. You also intervene on the integration of software components in the piece and support the end-to-end integration of the feature. You’ll drive and perform debugging at the inter-ECU level proposing and implementing fixes. All these activities are paced according to the Agile SAFe method. You will be in interface with the team's PO, the Technical Lead, Software and System architects, suppliers, and Renault Software Factory service provider teams.

Your profile

You have graduated from an engineering school with a software specialization in industrial computing or embedded computing.

You have at least 10 years of experience in electronic calculator development in low-level embedded software development (C, C++) with strong expertise and knowledge in automotive electronics & AUTOSAR framework.

You have previous experiences in the management of energy distribution in complex systems, big plus if related to automotive.

You have the necessary rigor and know how to work in an organized and transparent manner in a team. Your autonomy, your synthesis spirit, your analytical and listening skills, your communication, and your cross-functional animation skills will be necessary for the position offered.

You will be integrated into the Core Services team that serves the SDV project. You will work on cross-vehicle topics related to Energy Management.

Within this framework and based on the Software Architecture, your various tasks will be:

• Drive Development, validation, integration, and system debug on target of cross-vehicle features related to Energy Management

• Coordinate debug sessions with developers, architects, and test engineers

• Develop new tools/scripts optimizing the use of hardware/software resources, facilitating, and automating debugging steps

• Follow up on anomaly processing

• Master and apply the concepts of Continuous Integration (CI) / Continuous Testing (CT)

• Ensure compliance with Safety / Cyber-Security / Regulatory / Specific Groupe Renault rules imposed within the software direction

• Review of the requirements and Software Architecture Design (SAD) defined by the Software Architect

• Writing of the Software Detail Design (SCDD) for each Software-Components and their division into Software Unit

• Development in C/C++ of SW Unit

• Unit testing of SW Unit using the Test framework

• Testing of Software-Components using the Test framework

• Integration testing using different benches (light/environment Vector)

• Debug on target All of this in a continuous integration environment (Gitlab). 1
