ROLE PURPOSE

Secure the mechanical design of systems and its compliance to technical requirements.

PRIMARY AND SECONDARY REPONSABILITIES

• Mechanical requirements; analysis and documentation.

• Mechanical and package design, structural analysis, prototype and engineering verification.

• Modelling (3D) of mechanical systems, modules, and items.

• Detailing (2D) of items.

• Concept design requirements, review concept design and provide constructive feedback to project teams or similar

• Manage mechanical BOM and ECO updates by Arena (PLM)

• Early supplier qualification, audit and support buyers to do vendor selection;

• Support Blueair Cabin Air R&D portfolio build up by managing R&D initiative and ongoing R&D projects;

• Participate in project meeting with headquarter and design review meeting with suppliers
INTERFACES INTERNAL/EXTERNAL

• You need to daily interact with the R&D team in Sweden and China.

• Your manager is the CAT R&D Mgr or Design and Development Mgr, pending your location.

• You need to interact with the other teams in CabinAir, specifically Operations and M&S.
KEY COMPETENCIES, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Suitable academic degree

• Min 2 years of experience from working with system mechanical design

• Work experience from telecom/automotive sector is meriting

• Fluent in both written- and oral English
