We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist (Android or iOS).
Principal responsibilities
The Consultant Specialist, Development role takes responsibility for delivery and consultancy of WSIT Digital projects.

The job holder contributes in successful delivery of projects by providing technical / application guidance to project teams and providing guidance to multiple project teams. The responsibilities entail areas such as conducting feasibility studies, requirement analysis, design and development, technology update, knowledge sharing, as well as coding.

The Consultant Specialist should be aligned with group standards, IT and business strategy, meet business objectives and satisfy all relevant regulatory, architecture standards and operational risk.

Qualifications - External

Android Engineer
5+ years of Android experience

Deep experience working on a team of Android engineers building and maintaining large-scale apps, or impressive apps that you’ve built personally

Experience as a technical expert on the Android platform and competency with industry standard libraries

Experience with Android-specific location libraries is a plus

Experience with React-native is a plus

Experience building SDKs or open-source libraries is desired

Experience for handling security issues

Familiar with Kotlin/Java

Have experience in Dagger2 / Rxjava2 / Retrofit2 / OkHttp / Jetpack, familiar with 3rd party lib integration, familiar with design pattern, especially MVP

Strong self-learning skill

Have android fingerprint development experience is a plus

Familiar with security concept and integration is a plus, like https, cert pinning, encryption and decryption, data protection and etc

Effective English communication skills (both written and verbal)

Comfort and delight in a small, fast-paced startup environment

Experience working in an agile development environment

Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field
iOS Engineer
5 + years of iOS development experience

Proficient Objective-C and Swift skill

Knowledge of UIKit and Cocoa frameworks

Familiar with SnapKit / Alamofire and most popular 3rd party libs.

Familiar with iOS multi-thread development.

Familiar with design pattern MVC/ MVVM. Have VIPER swift experience is a plus

Familiar with security concept and integration is a plus, like https, cert pinning, encryption and decryption, data protection and etc

Experience with React-native is a plus

Experience working in an agile development environment

Experience with performance optimisation is a plus

Desire to grow and improve engineering skills and iOS knowledge

Comfort and delight in a small, fast-paced startup environment

Ideally, you’ve made contributions to one or more apps in the App Store

Effective English communication skills (both written and verbal)

Strong self-learning skill

Bachelors Degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field
