HZ Finance Manager - China Finance Operation
The HZ Finance Manager (base in Hangzhou) will report to the China Finance
Operation Lead (CFOL base in Dalian) in a straight line and to the China
Biopharma Finance Lead (base in Shanghai) in a dotted line. Mainly responsible
for Pfizer’s new legal entity (LE) HZ Innovation Hub financial reporting
review, financial analysis, audit, budgeting, forecasting, etc. to ensure
financial targets are met with KPI requirement and financial booking are in
alignment with statutory, legal, regulatory, and jurisdictional guidance.

This role requires extensive collaboration with Business, China major function
teams as well as Regional and Global GBS sites and COE leaderships to ensure
the integrity of Pfizer market financial data.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Closing and Reporting

* To manage the close for HZ LE under US GAAP and Local GAAP for financial
reporting.
* To resolve any issues which arise during the close.
* To provide support to GBS operation team as required during the close, and
to also ensure the entire close are completed in line with the reporting
timetable.
* Complete key controls in SAP PC in accordance with policies and accounting
calendar.
* Support CFOL on managing and overseeing the month/year end process.
* Monitor and analyze accounting data to ensure finance operations fully
adhere to internal and external compliance requirements and financial
information is in accordance with accounting principles.
* To plan/ coordinate group audit, statutory audit, special audit cross
internal & external stakeholders to ensure smooth audits completion.
* To support Corporate & SOX audits.
* Flexible to support China finance operation out of HZ Hub.
* To support Pfizer China GSP related financial tasks

Budget Management and Control

* Proactively work with site lead and team members in establishing strategic
direction and financial goals and take full responsibility for site long-term
budget management.
* Dotted-line report to commercial finance and provide monthly updates to
commercial finance for overall site financial performance.
* Responsible for site annual budgeting and periodic forecast and provide
monthly variance analysis report to commercial finance.
* Provide budget approval and validation for all site projects and escalate
for higher financial validation within commercial finance team.
* Provide business analysis and valuable insights for decision making and
driving site operational improvement.


Business Support

* To communicate with internal stakeholders on control requirements, policy
update and other finance matters.
* To advise financial process and accounting treatment for daily business
needs
* To support new projects on accounting process design and accounting
advisory etc.
* To support internal project management if needed
* To Support Tax team on tax matters.

Requirements

* Approximately 8+years of working experience in accounting / controllership
team
* Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university; MBA / CPA
preferred or other equivalent education / certification.
* Experience in SOX, Financial reporting, internal and external audit, budget
management. Project management skill is a plus.
* Working experience in MNC is required, and experience in Big 4 will be a
plus.
* Adapt to travel and hybrid working model.

* Ability to work in a diverse culture, work with various teams and matrix
reporting line.
* Savvy with industry and Pfizer financial systems and financial reporting
