KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to the China CEO, the General Manager of F&C Division has full P&L responsibility and will be accountable for delivering and executing a compelling market-based business strategy to drive revenue, EBITDA growth and achieve extraordinary financial returns.
In achieving this mandate, the GM will work closely with the CEO and other members of the leadership team to ensure that the division’s operational strategy and execution capabilities are closely aligned with the business strategy. The GM will oversee all key commercial areas of the F&C Divisions, and provide strong and visible direction to the division at all levels. Externally, the GM will be the Divisions’ ambassador to various constituent groups, including customers, lenders, suppliers, partners, and regulators.
The GM will have oversight of sales, marketing and people leadership for the F&C Division. Key responsibilities will include:
• Develop an ambitious plan to maximize growth and profitability across end-markets and geographies by further improving upon Luyang’s brand, products and technology, and implementing this plan through strong leadership and clear communication.
• Attract, hire and develop the best possible team in the industry while instilling a culture of accountability.
• Develop a commercial strategy and personally get involved with the current and future customer base to build strong, trust-based relationships with the primary decision-makers in those organizations. Ensure the F&C Division remains externally focused and continually looking to enhance its existing customer relationships, as well as develop new ones.
• Closely manage ongoing business and operating performance against plans and budgets. The successful candidate will be responsible for maximizing utilization of the Luyang’s resources (people, manufacturing and technical capabilities), overseeing the ongoing product management and development, ensuring an efficient organizational structure, and driving costs out of the business. The candidate will implement systematic process reviews to implement best-in-class project execution and effective division wide operations.
• Manage the relationship with the CEO and leadership team. Keep this group fully abreast of developments and issues and engage them in discussions and decision-making on key strategic issues as they arise.
• Develop and nurture productive relationships and business opportunities with potential and existing commercial partners, and other key stakeholders.
YEAR ONE CRITICAL SUCCESS FACTORS
• Develop strong rapport and trust with the CEO and executive leadership team. Be viewed as a critical business leader and partner. Establish strong credibility with associates throughout the company and particularly the F&C Divisions, including direct reports, external partners and customers.
• Review and revise (as appropriate) the long-term strategic and financial plan, including the current year annual operating plan and budget, to assess any gaps in the F&C Division’s ability to grow, considering technology, operations, funding, talent / headcount, and customer relationships.
• Engage with the sales and engineering teams to provide support for and assist with high-potential customer opportunities. Evaluate the existing pipeline, prioritize new opportunities, and ensure a game plan is enacted to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
• Assess and improve marketing and product development capabilities, including tracking customer feedback and integrate further improvements into the product and operations with existing and new technologies.

• A successful record of growing and improving shareholder value through strategic, commercial, and operational initiatives.
• Strong history of leading P&L’s where manufacturing, product development and technology drives performance.
• A demonstrated ability to develop an outstanding team and motivate accountability, ownership and performance.
• The highest level of ethics and values in both personal and professional conduct.
• Collaborative leadership style that motivates and inspires excellence and urgency.
• The ability to operate in a hands-on, engaged fashion through all levels, while maintaining a high level of ownership and accountability in the management team.
• Experience managing an execution-oriented sales force and an ability to develop credibility with employees, customers and other stakeholders.
• Experience leading a structured sales process, utilizing project management and sales in concert to strategically achieve growth of top and bottom line.
EDUCATION
An undergraduate degree from an accredited university is required. An advanced degree in engineering or business will be greatly appreciated.
