1.Perform manufacturability analyses for new and re-engineered products
2.Support product development by participating in Simultaneous Engineering and Module Teams
3.Design manufacturing processes and define resources needed
4.Determine standard times by using relevant methods
5.Maintain production processes related SAP data
6.Design assembly fixtures, transportation and storage bins, special gauges
7.Prepare, coordinate and execute capital (dis-)investment (fixtures, jigs, tools,
equipment and machines)
8.Validate new fixtures and equipment
9.Support blue collar workers with trainings and Work Instructions
10.Reduce manufacturing costs through waste elimination (LEAN)
11.Support Quality Management in creation of Control Plans and in 8D Problem Solving
12.Contribute to disturbance-free production by providing technical support
13.Participate in expert meetings, support implementation of new tools and methods (SAP MES, etc.)
