Leads the fleet Management, handles and organizes transportation activities such as collecting transportation needs, dispatching transporters and ensures timely and successful delivery under excellent standard of service and customer satisfaction within budget.
1. Collects and analyzes transportation needs, schedules and conducts effective fleet deployment activities under optimum fleet utilization and recommends appropriate actions for under performing and under-utilized fleet.
2. Follows up fleet maintenance such as overseeing safety checks, routine trucks checks and repair work on trucks and defines renewal, development and acquisition requirements for the fleet.
3. Oversees shipment process and transportation of finished goods and raw material. Prepares, shares with transit and archives all transport documentation for custom clearance.
4. Coordinates with transport providers and resolves delivery, scheduling and dispatching problems through effective and timely communication with transporters to ensure on-time delivery under optimized delivery Flows and fuel consumption.
5.Monitors packaging balance with customers (spools, conipacks, reels and pallets).
6. Prepares and controls the annual Transport budget, prepares, communicates and reviews Transport KPI's and defines accordingly continuous improvement plans of Transport processes, procedures and systems to meet the Logistics Department and the Company's objectives.
7. Performs other duties or tasks as may be reasonably requested. Complies with corporate values, code of conducts and non-disclosure agreement.
