This role will be responsible for leading and managing process improvement initiatives within Taicang site. He/She will work closely with various departments to identify areas for improvement, create DC kaizen roadmaps, streamline workflows, and implement strategies to enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in process improvement methodologies, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement.
CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Lead strategy deployment process and develop annual DC kaizen roadmap for each CLC building.
Collaborate with departmental leaders to identify process inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
Conduct thorough analyses of current processes using data-driven methodologies such as Lean, Shikumi, value stream mapping, and root cause analysis.
Develop and implement action plans to optimize processes, reduce waste, and improve overall efficiency and quality.
Facilitate cross-functional workshops and brainstorming sessions to gather input, generate ideas, and drive consensus on process improvements.
Use key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor process performance and track the success of improvement initiatives.
Provide training and support to employees at all levels on process improvement methodologies and tools.
Communicate progress, results, and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders through clear and concise presentations and reports.
Stay abreast of industry emerging trends, and new technologies related to process improvement and incorporate them into organizational strategies.
Lead CLC kaizen projects or ad-hoc event projects from initiation to implementation, ensuring the alignment with organizational priorities.
Lead monthly Lean Committee to share NLS progress, award best performers and drive NLS portfolio project fulfillment ratio.
Requirements:
Bachelor Degree: Engineering/Statistics/Physics related
6 years of working experience in a relevant function/industry is preferred.
Technical: Quick learning capability; logic/data analytical skills; numeracy.
Management/Leadership (if applicable): proven evidence in leading small teams and driving employee development
Fast-paced office environment with frequent interactions with cross-functional teams and account relationship.
Occasional travel may be required to visit different DC locations or attend off-site meetings and training sessions.
