The China BPR IT PM, SAP will be responsible for the implementation of the S4 Hana system within the organization. This includes managing the project team, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the desired quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assume overall responsibility for SAP S/4HANA implementations, including the full lifecycle phases of prepare, design, realization, deploy , Go live and hypercare.
• Develop and maintain a detailed project plan for the implementation of S4 Hana system.
• Manage the project team, including assigning tasks and monitoring progress.
• Coordinate with stakeholders, including business users, IT teams, and vendors, to ensure the project is progressing as planned.
• Identify, mitigate, escalate, manage, resolve project risks & issues, including developing contingency plans as needed.
• Ensure the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the desired quality standards.
• Provide regular updates to senior management on the progress of the project.
• Coordinate and supervise multiple teams and act as sparring partner for business project managers of multiple deployment projects.
• Drive decision-making on key design aspects and ensure global/China template governance.
• Define and install measures and processes to ensure quality of deliverables.
• Take lead of data cleansing and migration activity, co work with global data team, partner teams and business teams as well.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as computer science, information systems, or business administration .
• 8+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on ERP system implementations, or large-scale business transformations, ideally in SAP context and with a background in top management consulting.
• Experience with the implementation of S4 Hana systems is highly desirable.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Sound understanding of common E2E business processes (e.g., Lead-to-Cash, Plan-to-Produce).
• Experience with steering external providers, system integrators or consultancies.
• Ability to manage relationships and communication with executive leadership level.
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
• Experience in Data Cleansing and Migration is a big plus
